The Second season of the N-Square Hyderabad Premier Golf League hosted by Golfingout started off with the Draft event seeing participation from more than 200 players up for grabs by 14 teams. Each team consisted of 10 players played in 2 pools and the top 2 teams from each qualify for the semi-finals. The league Commissioner Sumanth said this is India’s only privately owned golf league that is played over 3 different courses: Vooty Golf County, Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club and Hyderabad Golf Club.
Each of the teams participated in 6 league stage rounds in singles and doubles formats before the semi-finals and finals.

Hemanth Reddy Captain of the Centro Eagle Hunters was crowned the league overall MVP.

Chairman and Managing Director of N-Square, Sridhar Mumma Reddy who was the main sponsor of the event added, “The format for the league was very exciting and saw some epic battles between the teams. While Team N-Square put up a great fight and couldn’t make it to the final four we look forward to the next season. The league has made golfers in Hyderabad come together like never before. We are very proud to be a part of the league and look forward to season 3.”
Zubair Khan The owner of Kings Group and Co-Owner of Kings warriors who won the Coveted Swarovski trophy from Germany and a big pay cheque was elated with his team’s maiden victory. He also said they plan to take their team tor a golf holiday abroad to celebrate their victory. Kings has always promoted excellence and we are happy to have ended the season on the top spot.
Krishna Reddy, Nagesh Reddy & Chakradhar Gadde of the Sharkies were also elated on their second place finish and said would come back with a stronger fight to finish at the top next season. Krishna Reddy said “We enjoyed the league format and bonding with our team mates so much during the event and now have withdrawal feelings, can’t wait for the second season.”
