CANGolf conceptualised and implemented a Monthly Medal Round at CIDCO’s Kharghar Valley Golf Course (KVGC) to provide an inclusive, yet competitive platform for all golfers to participate in tournaments
Event is played by 72 golfers across different handicaps ranging from expert single digit handicappers to newcomers with 24 handicap. Stableford scoring format is used for the tournament and there are Total 8 Prizes up for grabs.
RESULTS:
- Overall Best Gross – Mr Harsharan Singh (Gross Score – 5 Over)
- Winner (Handicap 0 to 18) – Mr Prashin Jhobalia (40 Stableford Points, Gross Score – 7 Over)
- Runner Up (Handicap 0 to 18) – Mr Avijit Singh (38 Stableford Points, Gross Score- 6 over)
- Winner (Handicap 19 and above) – Mr Muneesh Sud (40 Stableford Points, Gross Score – 14 Over)
- Runner Up (Handicap 19 and above) – Mr Gulbeer Singh (34 Stableford Points, Gross Score -20 over)
- Longest Drive – Devdutt Sekdar (275 yards)
- Straightest Drive – Amitabh Ambastha (3 inches from the Straight Drive Line)
- Closes to Pin – Manjit Bali (2 Feet)
It was a close match for Handicap Category A. There was a 3 way tie among golfers Avijit Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Masood Baig with 38 Stableford points. MR Avijit singh was declared winner basis best gross over back 9 holes (Mr Avijit played gross 2 over back 9 holes)
In order to encourage young and newer golfers to the game, CANGolf gave the young guns a Welcome to Golf Certificate and all golfers extended the warm welcome.
