Ridhima, an eight-year girl from Bengaluru, Karnataka demonstrated great grit and character on the Day 2 of the Indian Golf Union – South Zone Sub Junior Golf Tournament, held at Coimbatore Golf Course and won in a second playoff with an eagle to seal the victory. She concluded with a Day 1 score of 40 and a Day 2 score of 39. She was rewarded as the winner in E category girls and a gold medal by Indian Golf Union Governing Council member Mr Shyam Sundar. South Zone Sub Junior Golf Tournament, held at Kodaikanal Golf Course with a Day 1 score of 37 and Day 2 score of 36 and emerged as winner
in E Category Girls. The final leg of the Indian Golf Union – South Zone Sub Junior Golf tournament was held at the Nilgiris at Ooty Golf Course. Ridhima continued her winning streak here to emerge as a winner in E Category Girls with a Day 1 score of 44 and Day 2 score of 45 and was awarded a gold medal. Ridhima is a class II K girl from Delhi Public School Bengaluru and is getting trained by Coach Raheem and Coach Arif who have always encouraged her to participate in Golf tournaments. She is working hard to get an Olympic Gold for India in Golf.
