The Young Master Zion Hills Tour Championship was held from 3-5 May. The event had a good turn out and the Male division saw Suraj Joshi win his first WAGR event. After 36 holes Suraj was 9 shots ahead of his nearest rival but the fight for 2nd & 3rd place was between 4 RAKSHIT DAHIYA WINS MAIDAN WAGR EVENT SURAJ JOSHI EVENTUALLY BROKE THE RUNNER-UP JINX AND DIA CRIS CAME FROM 5 SHOTS BACK TO WIN players. Suraj shot a 71 on the last day to comfortably win by 15 strokes. Tanish R. Gowda managed to keep his nerve and edge out Rahul Batra by a couple of shots. In the female division after 36 holes Keerthana Rajeev had a 5-shot lead over Dia Cris and 7 shot lead over Kaya Daluwatte. The 3rd-day saw some nerves creeping into Keerthan’s and Kaya’s game as Dia Cris kept her focus and played a 1-over round to win from Keerthana and Kaya. There was also a junior event of 54 holes, the age group of this mixed event was 10-11 years with 3 juniors participating Adit Veeramchaneni, Kiara Yadav & S. Nandan.
